Love Your Library 2026 ~ Support Northland this September 
Our 11th annual Love Your Library fundraising campaign launches on September 1st, and we are asking for your support to help keep Northland thriving as a vital community resource.
Since the newly-renovated Library formally opened in January, Northland’s door counts have increased by more than 32% throughout the first six months of 2026. So many patrons are visiting the Library, that we literally ran out of toilet paper on a Friday afternoon in June!
Government funding only covers a portion of the Library’s annual operating costs. It is thanks to the generosity of our donors that Northland is able to keep pace with demand for our physical materials, electronic resources, programs, services, and yes, even toilet paper!

Your gift in any amount is greatly appreciated! You can make a tax-deductible donation online HERE or by mailing or dropping off a check payable to the Northland Public Library Foundation at Northland Public Library, 300 Cumberland Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
Thanks to the support of the Jack Buncher Foundation, all funds raised during the month of September (up to $500 per donor) are eligible for a pro-rated match (approximately 25 cents per $1 donated), making September the BEST TIME to donate to Northland all year.
SHOP OUR AMAZON WISH LIST
Support Northland by ordering items from our Amazon Wish List. This new way to give allows patrons to easily donate items, which have been specifically requested by staff from all Library departments. Items are shipped directly to the Library and include craft wiggle eyes, paper for this newsletter, book stands, craft supplies, and much more.

ATTEND A SPECIAL EVENT
September 4 or 5 ~ Murder at the Speakeasy: A Northland Mystery is an interactive, 21-and-over fundraiser at the libraryfrom 7-9 p.m. with sips, sweets and suspense. $35 per person. Order tickets HERE.
September 19 ~ The Children’s Gala 2026: A Rainforest Adventure presented by AHN Wexford Hospital offers an evening full of fun and wonder at the library for families with young children. Enjoy live entertainment, games, strolling book characters, and more from 6-8 p.m. $25 per person. Order tickets HERE.
September 24, 25, 26 & 27 ~ Shop the Fall Book Sale for great deals on used books, puzzles, DVDs, games and more. If you prefer to shop early without the crowds, register to attend the Preview Sale on Thursday, September 24 for $10. Order Preview Sale tickets HERE.
ENJOY A LATTE
Visit Commonplace Coffee Northland during the month of September to purchase a cozy, hazlenut Love Your Library Latte. $1 from each sale of this special beverage (hot or iced!) will be donated to the Library.
