Join us for the Children’s Gala 2025: Under the Sea at Northland Public Library on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Children’s Gala is a special evening at the library full of fun and wonder for families with young children. Activities include strolling book characters, games, live entertainment, raffles, face painting, balloon artist, food, photo-op areas, and much more!
Tickets go on sale July 15, 2025 and cost $25 per person.

MURDER SETS SAIL – A NORTHLAND MYSTERY FUNDRAISER
We know you’re DYING to come to the next great Northland murder mystery event!
Join us for Murder Sets Sail: A Northland Mystery Fundraiser on Friday, September 5 or Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Northland Public Library from 7 to 9 p.m.
Murder Sets Sail is an interactive, 21-and-over event to help raise funds for Northland during September’s Love Your Library campaign. Attendees will enjoy sips, sweets and suspense while solving an original mystery developed by Northland’s Adult Services librarians. Light appetizers, coffee and desserts are included in the ticket price. Wine by the glass and beer will be available for $5 each.
General admission tickets cost $35 per person, and a Supporting Sponsor ticket option is also available for $50, which includes general admission, one alcoholic drink ticket, and name recognition in the event program.

About The Foundation
The Northland Public Library Foundation was started in 1985 by a group of dedicated community volunteers who sought to ensure the future of Northland Public Library through fundraising for special, non-operational needs and projects. Today, the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 25-1512340), which serves as the fundraising arm of Northland Public Library, managing all donations, spearheading fundraising efforts and providing crucial financial support for all aspects of library operations.

The vision of the Northland Public Library Foundation is to fully fund the initiatives of the Library’s strategic plan and have a strong presence in the communities we serve through the support of individuals, Library users, Library volunteers, private foundations, and corporate partners to ensure that our Library remains the center of our community and is prepared for the opportunities of the future.
