About The Foundation

The Northland Public Library Foundation was started in 1985 by a group of dedicated community volunteers who sought to ensure the future of Northland Public Library through fundraising for special, non-operational needs and projects. Today, the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 25-1512340), which serves as the fundraising arm of Northland Public Library, managing all donations, spearheading fundraising efforts and providing crucial financial support for all aspects of library operations.

Mission

The mission of the Northland Public Library Foundation is to build financial support through community fundraising to enhance the programs and growth of Northland Public Library.

Vision

The vision of the Northland Public Library Foundation is to fully fund the initiatives of the Library’s strategic plan and have a strong presence in the communities we serve through the support of individuals, Library users, Library volunteers, private foundations, and corporate partners to ensure that our Library remains the center of our community and is prepared for the opportunities of the future.
