WINNIE THE POOH CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
October 14 from 12 Noon to 2 p.m.
Join us on Wednesday, October 14th to celebrate 100 years of everyone’s favorite hunny-loving bear, Winnie the Pooh! From noon to 2 p.m., the Children and Teen Services department will transform into the Hundred Acre Woods. Families are invited to join us for read-alouds, a scavenger hunt, and games of Pooh sticks and Pin-the-Tail-on-Eeyore. Do you think you can jump as high as Tigger? Or write about a time when you were brave like Pooh? Come find out at Northland Library!

OWL-O-WEEK CELEBRATION!
October 29 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Stop on down and join us for our Owl-O-Ween Celebration. Children and their caregivers are invited to show off their costumes, trick or treat in the library, play games and do some fun crafts! Costume parade at 7:15!
Sound Beginnings will be conducting a musical storytime and activities under the tree.
All ages welcomed.

LAB MICE – Mondays at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.
A STEAM-based hands-on storytime for children 3 1/2 to 6 years of age. Each week we will read a story, talk about what happened, and have a demonstration related to the book. Afterwards, we will do a fun hands-on STEAM activity!
Registration is required for the first session only. Please register each attending child separately. This event is part of a series. If you register for this first event, you will also be registering for future occurrences.
SESSION 1 – October 5, 12, 19, 26, November 2
SESSION 2 – November 16, 23, 30, December 7, and 14
MUSIC AND MOVEMENT – Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
November 10, 17, 24 and December 1, 8, 15
Join us under the tree in the Children and Teen Services Department to make some music, dance, and listen to a few stories!
For children ages 3 to 6 with a caregiver.

PRESCHOOL STORYTIME! – Wednesdays at 10 or 11 a.m.
September 2, 9, 30; October 7, 14, 21, 28; November 4, 11, 18
Children ages 3 to 5 and can come on down to the Library for a 30-minute storytime. Children can enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and rhythms. Children must be at least 3 years of age to attend. Infants under the age of 1 year may attend with their sibling(s).
Please note these are identical sessions and families should only attend either 10:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.
Registration is not required for this program–NOTE: A limited number of people (children and adults) will be permitted in the Meeting Rooms. This program is first come, first served. No one will be admitted once the program begins.
IT’S TIME FOR CREATIVE THURSDAY! – Thursdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Room 108
October 1 through December 17 (Except Thanksgiving Day, November 26)
Children aged 3 to 6 years old can drop in for a cute, quick, 15-minute craft to make and take home. Stop by Room 108 in the Children’s Department for this casual crafting time with Ms. Kim.
