Northland Library has achieved Gold Star status in the Pennsylvania Library Association’s Star Library Program. The Star Library Program is a statewide initiative to redefine the libraries role in our Commonwealth. There are five literacies which we hope to assist all Pennsylvanians to master. The five literacies are basic, information, financial, and civic and social and health.
In 2018, Northland achieved the status of Gold Level Library.
You may have noticed each of the literacies on our marketing materials for programs and resources. These are reminders of how Northland is fulfilling the goal of helping Pennsylvanians to lead successful, healthy and productive lives.
