NORTHLAND RENAISSANCE FAIRE – October 3, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Travel back to a time of knights and jousting, royal courts and taverns, and medieval revelry! Join Northland staff and friends for entertainment, workshops, and fun for all ages.

10:00 – Face painting Lower Lobby
10:00 – 12:00 – Library Card Wand & Flower Crowns Meeting Room, upper level Make a flower crown or your own fairy wand to use when you check items our from Northland!
10:00 – 11:00 – All the World’s a Stage Learning Garden Join Shakespeare enthusiast Nick as he breaks down and performs some of the Bard’s works!
11:00 – Learn to Play Of Popes & Plagues Upstairs Nonfiction Tables Wage war on your enemies. Lead a Holy Crusade. But above all else, prepare for the coming of the plague – because once it breaks out, he who dies last wins!
11:30 – 12:30 – Stage Combat Basics Learning Garden Watch and learn some simple stage combat and sword fighting techniques!
12:00 – 2:00 – Chainmail Earrings Meeting Room, upper level Learn some make simple chainmail style earrings.
1:00 – 2:00 – Medieval Dancing Lobby, lower level Learn some simple dances for your next medieval ball.
2:00 – 3:00 – Presentation of the Royal Court & Jousting Learning Garden Join the Queen and her King Consort as they attend the day’s jousting competition!
Happening All Day:
Open Board Gaming Nonfiction area, upper level Learn some new games or play some favorites with other gaming enthusiasts!
Vendor Tables Upper Level Local artists and businesses will be available throughout the day to talk about what they do and sell stickers, earrings, clothes, and more!
