- Heritage Quest Online (Genealogy)
Searchable images of U.S. federal census records and digitized books containing
family and local histories from around the country. Available to all in-library.
Residents of our five supporting municipalities can access HeritageQuest Online
from home. You must register in person at the Reference Desk to use this added service.
The North Hills
Genealogists made a generous donation to Northland to help continue
the HeritageQuest Online subscription through 2010. Due to the library’s various funding
reductions, this subscription would have been cancelled for 2010. We thank them for their
continued support of Northland and its genealogy resources.
- Northland Library Tutor (Tutoring)
This online tutoring service allows students of all ages, from kindergarten through
adult, to connect directly and immediately with an expert for one-on-one help in math,
science, English, social studies, and more. Available daily from 3pm - 10pm. Available to
everyone in library. Residents of our five supporting municipalities who have a
Northland Library card can access this service from a home or business computer by
clicking on this link and entering their card number.
- Tumblebooks (Kids)

has stories by favorite authors like Robert Munsch and TV characters like Caillou.
Tumblebooks has books in other languages if you are learning Spanish, German,
or even Hebrew! Happy Tumbling! Available both in-library and remotely.
