About The Foundation
The Northland Public Library Foundation was started in 1985 by a group of dedicated community volunteers who sought to ensure the future of Northland Public Library through fundraising for special, non-operational needs and projects. Today, the Foundation is guided by a group of committed citizens with the same goal in mind. Through a combination of individual, corporate and foundation donors, the Foundation (NPLF) has raised thousands of dollars every year to support a variety of initiatives.
The mission of the Northland Public Library Foundation is to build financial support through community fundraising to enhance the programs and growth of Northland Public Library.
The vision of the Northland Public Library Foundation is to fully fund the initiatives of the Library’s strategic plan and have a strong presence in the communities we serve through the support of individuals, Library users, Library volunteers, private foundations, and corporate partners to ensure that our Library remains the center of our community and is prepared for the opportunities of the future.
