Every Wednesday until April 25

Children ages 3 to 5 can come on down to the Library for a 30-minute storytime every Wednesday. Children can enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and rhythms. This program runs at the same time as our new Storytime Tots, but is meant for children in (or about to enter) preschool. No registration required!

Children in preschool or kindergarten are invited to join Miss Kim for STEM Storytime under the tree in the Children and Teen Department. We meet each Tuesday for stories, songs, experiments, and activities related to Science Technology Engineering and Math. No registration is required for this program.
Music and Movement
Thursdays at 10 a.m. until April 26
Join us for Music and Movement under the tree in the Children and Teen Services Department! Children able to sit through a thirty minute storytime with music, simple instruments, scarves, and dancing are welcome to join us. No registration is necessary for this program.
Zachariah Ohora Author Visit
Wednesday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m.
Ross Community Center
Zachariah Ohora, nationally known author and illustrator will be coming to talk with kids about his writing and drawing. Crafts, activities and a book signing round out the evening. If you are a “My Cousin Momo”, “The Not So Quiet Library” or a “No Fits, Nilson!” fan, you won’t want to miss this. No registration required. This program is intended for children from preschool age through second grade.

2018 Summer Reading Kickoff
Saturday, June 9 from 1-3 p.m.
Please stop in and help us celebrate the start of Summer Reading! This year’s theme is “Reading Rocks!” and we will start off the summer with a fun day of crafts, summer reading sign ups and more! At 3 p.m. we will have the Anti bullying Rock n’ roll Hip hop Comedy duo of Josh and Gab performing! Josh and Gab have formed an unforgettable high-energy musical-comedy duo with a focus on an anti-bullying message. No registration required.

Kindergarten Boot Camp

A little bit nervous about the big step? Join us for stories and activities designed to give you Kinder-confidence! This program is for preschoolers entering kindergarten in the fall of 2018.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Friday, July 20 at 9:30 a.m.
Bring your stuffed animal friend to the Stuffed Animal Sleepover for some special activities. At 11 a.m., you will say goodbye to your stuffed friend so they can enjoy some time with the Northland staff and have a very unusual sleepover. You will then pick up your stuffie on Saturday July 21 between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You never know what your little friend will get into at the library over night. They may even have something special made just for you. This program is open to all stuffed animal lovers. Registration is required. There is a $2.00 fee to cover supplies and will be collected on July 20 during drop off.
Harry Potter Day!
July 31 from 1-3 p.m.
Families with children of all ages can join us at the library for a day of all things Harry Potter! Crafts, games, trivia and fun surprises!
Fifth Annual Mother Goose Olympics
