Northland is pleased to sponsor the bookmobile in our service area.
The Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) bookmobile visits the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh at Marshall Elementary School each week.
The schedule for the bookmobile stop in our service area:
- Marshall Elementary School
Fridays, 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The bookmobile carries about 2,500 items, including books, videos, DVDs, and CDs. You may check out any of the items on board, or request items from Northland or any Allegheny County library. Requested items are delivered the following week, or whenever they become available.
Bookmobiles are also equipped with a personal computer and a printer that you may use to search the Catalog and do Internet and database research.
You may return items that you have checked out at Northland to the bookmobile, and you may return items that you have check out at the bookmobile at Northland as well.

The Senior Book mobile visits three senior facilities in the Northland service area on Mondays once a month to offer services to residents of these facilities. They are Kane Ross Regional Care Center, Marian Hall Home and Vincentian Villa.
Marian Hall Home: (One Monday per month from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m.)
Kane Ross Regional Care Center: (One Monday per month from 11-11:45 a.m.)
Vincentian Villa: (One Monday per month from 12:45 – 1:30 p.m.)
